Poker News - King Offering 'On Poker' Column

NEW YORK Another column covering the increasingly popular game of poker is coming to newspapers.The weekly "On Poker" is being distributed by King Features Syndicate and written by Chuck Blount, a San Antonio Express-News sportswriter and avid poker player.
"In my column, I cover all aspects of the game," said Blount, from "strategies for both novices and veterans and coverage of the circuit's biggest tournaments to the latest book reviews and player profiles and rivalries."
Earlier this year, United Media launched "Hellmuth's Hold'em" by Phil Hellmuth (E&P Online, Feb. 28) and Card Shark Media introduced "Playing Poker with Daniel Negreanu" (E&P Online, April 19).
More than 65 million Americans regularly play poker, and various TV shows feature the game.
