Source: Aberdeen NewsThe local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation has scheduled a poker run for July 23.
The event will begin at C&S Motor Sports, 1502 Sixth Ave. S.W., Aberdeen, with registration running from 10 a.m. to noon. Lunch will be provided at 11:15 a.m. to participants, and a free T-shirt will be given to the first 100 registered riders.
Registration fee is $10, with a 15 percent payback of the registration fees to the winner of the poker hand.
Raffle tickets also will be sold for a mini-chopper to be given away at the foundation's New Year's Eve dance on Dec. 31. Money raised will go directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Dakota.
