Poker News - Poker Hits the Ohio State Community
August 1, 2005
In the last 12 months, no sport has made as much of an impact in the mainstream world as poker.
Everywhere you turn, you are liable to see something related to playing poker. While many players are beginning to play regularly in live Texas Hold Em tournaments and online games, the need for someone to organize games has risen dramatically.
One particular website has recognized this problem within the Ohio State community and is organizing games for Ohio State students, alumnae and fans.
OhioStatePoker.com, recently launched on July 25th, 2005, is becoming an everyday visit for poker players in the Ohio State community.
CEO of OhioStatePoker.com Justin Goff said, "We have arrangements made with many online poker rooms, and we are already setting up private tournaments, private cash games and private free rolls for all OhioStatePoker.com readers."
Goff also said that this will eliminate the struggle of finding games through groups on Yahoo and sites such as thefacebook.
